Balti cooking originates from the Kashmiri Region of Northern India that boarders Pakistan. Balti cuisine incorporates the styles of Chinese stir frys, Kashmiri and Persian spices with the use of cream, yogurt and almonds. Each dish of Balti curry contains approximately 15 fragrant spices and can be mild and creamy or blinding hot, but full of aromatic flavors.
